The ideal candidate will focus on prevention and wellness; perform various patient care functions including taking patients' vitals, collecting lab samples, providing injections, phone triage and patient education as directed by the nurse practitioner and/or physician as well as administrative duties to include patient reception and electronic scheduling.
Medical Assistant / ReceptionistThe successful candidate must be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Surgery center experience would be a plus. Phlebotomy and lab experience are required as this candidate will be the sole phlebotomist on location. Experience with electronic charting and scheduling, as well as excellent communication skills are a must and five years of experience working in a medical facility/outpatient clinic is required.
