Description
! The Hospital Surgical Representative is responsible for providing sales and promotion of Seri®, a unique silk derived scaffold, implants, and tissue expanders, developing and maintaining a customer base, initially, across Plastic Surgeons, contracting, and obtaining new customers.
Provides technical product knowledge, operating room training and assistance and overall hospital support to ensure customer satisfaction. Effectively utilizes all Allergan resources to enhance productivity and provide optimal customer satisfaction. Complies with required reports and requests and effectively manages Allergan field assets.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelorâs degree or equivalent combination of experience and education required
5 or more years of sales experience and/or training in medical surgical sales in the operating room including demonstrated clinical OR training from previous employment
Medical sales experi! ence required
Essential Skills and Abilities
! Ability to identify decision makers and influence decisions
Ability to manage and prioritize work load, multi-task and manage a diverse mix of issues, responsibilities and challenges
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage budgets, expenses and execute plans
Strong computer skills â" Powerpoint, Excel, Word, use of PC and iPad
Ability to function effectively in a high performance team. Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Exceptional Operating Room (OR) acumen - Knowledge of surgical operating room etiquette, sterile fields and sterile techniques
Ability to communicate scientific/clinical features and benefits of a product
Knowledge of medical device manufacturing
Ability to observe use of Allergan Medical products in the surgical arena
High degree of pers! onal integrity
Travel required 30% - 50% of time, valid Driverâs License
