Role Summary:
Leads the growth and operations of the Military Health Care practice for IMS Government Solutions.
Responsibilities:
Plans, directs and controls the activities and staff involved in the development of analytics, informatics and decision support solutions for the Military Health System.
Achieves assigned revenue, profit, and utilization targets for the practice.
Delivers high-value solutions that address complex client issues.
Defines and implements the government and geographic strategy, growth, and leadership of the practice.
Possesses in-depth expertise in the military healthcare system with the ability to be recognized as a high profile, world-class expert.
Collab! orates effectively with others across the IMS organization to accomplish team goals.
Possess a breadth of knowledge of the military healthcare environment, market dynamics, and business issues affecting the future of the industry.
Demonstrated strategic thinking and planning and change management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
Creates and fosters and environment that attracts top talent.
Values peopleâs opinions and encourages knowledge sharing.
Translates ideals and thought leadership into tangible government offerings.
Develops world-class replicable methodologies for practice and ensures knowledge sharing and understanding with senior practitioners.
Leading the functional development for new business capture/proposal development including writing technical proposals, defining scope, preparing basis of estimates, and identifying resources.
Oversees projects, ensuring! quality and timeliness of delivery.
Requirements:
! Bachelors Degree with at least 15 year experience of increasing responsibility in delivering services/solutions to the military health system. Masters Degree preferred.
Proven track record in building and managing services and analytics practices within the government contracting marketplace. Extensive client relationships and contacts with MHS
Extensive experience in military healthcare environments, serving as thought leader and key contributor in health analytics efforts for the Office of the United States Army Surgeon General, AFMS, Navy BUMED, the VA and other clients
Served as a thought leader and subject matter expert in providing technical and strategic services in support of DOD healthcare to include VA or Military Health System (MHS)
Must possess knowledge of VA/DoD data systems inclusive of CHCS/AHLTA, MEPRs, MDR, CDR, M2, PEPR, Vista and others
Deep knowledge of MHS healthcare informatics
US Citizenship and S! ecret Eligibility required.
