Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA is seekinga ABMS/AOA-BE/BC Surgical Oncologist with a subspecia! lty in Hepatobiliary to join Carilion's section of 12 General Surgeons.Carilion's surgeons utilize the latest technology and use minimally invasive/laparscopic approaches.Practice includes primarily surgical oncology with a mix of general surgery, hepatic tumors and pancreatic cancer cases . Qualified candidates must have completed an accredited fellowship in Surgical Oncology including training in Hepatobililary. Emphasis on providing the highest level of cancer care within a multidisciplinary setting. Position is 90% clinical and 10% teaching.Call is 4-5 times a month and includes ED call. Resident teaching and research opportunities available. Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital,a 703- bed teaching/tertiary care referral center andone of the largest and busiest Level1 trauma centers in Virginia.
