JOB OVERVIEW

Under the Food Service Manager supervision, the Juice Bar Clerk performs the following duties:

TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet and provide prompt courteous customer service
  • Prep fruits and vegetables for fresh juices- continuous as needed (Must be able to read and understand recipe’s in English)
  • Make fresh juices using electric juicers
  • Assist customers with questions and product selection
  • Completes customer orders in a timely manner
  • Maintain juice bar department area clean and sanitized
  • Maintain safety of work area
  • Assist in the deli as needed
  • Follow departmental procedures for safety, proper food handling, and sanitation according to local, state, and federal health code regulations
  • Use a cash register

QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES

Any combination equivalent to, but not limited to, the following:

Training/Education:

  • A High School Diploma or G.E.D. certificate

Knowledge of:
  • Customer service techniques
  • Verbal proficiency of the English Language, and be able to read and write English at a basic level


Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

  • Bending & lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Move stock from storage to shelf/preparation areas
  • Repetitive movement, cutting veggies and fruit with a knife
  • Daily work with knives and other sharp items
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time


Special Requirements
:

  • Must be available to work various shifts as needed including weekends.
