Job Description


How can you contribute?

Eurofins is currently applying new IT and its infrastructure strategy changes to face new security challenges across regions. A key aspect is related to the changes of its Information Systems (EurIS) in which the central and regional web-based Marketing & Offer applications ComLIMS are essentials.

You will join our ComLIMS Project Management Office (PMO), which scope includes:

  • Program’ Service Cards, Cost Models and Service Level Agreements, as well as the SharePoint sites administration, in which you will contribute to making our offered services crystal clear to our internal customers (Eurofins business), and keeping our internal DMS (site) well governed;
  • Governance of team organisations, resource management and organisational charts, in which you will maintain relevant team structure, people, charts, Credit System, Team building, etc. up to date and well governed;
  • Governance of internal processes and KPIs, in which you will maintain our list of processes, drive evolutions as needed, train and coach teams, ensure KPIs are qualitative/automated/efficient and available to all stakeholders, support the analysis of KPIs and suggest remediation actions;
  • Managing Transversal Projects, in which you will support projects at Program level, when they require transversal coordination between more than two ComLIMS teams, or alternatively support a team in their coordination;
  • Risk and Security Management, in which you will participate in risk management for the ComLIMS Program by measuring risks, proposing mitigations, governing and enforcing the proper security policies internally;
  • Internal Auditing, in which you will support manager needs by performing internal auditing, sharing reporting and coaching teams for any process, risk, security or KPI where it brings a value.

As an IT Project Support Officer within our ComLIMS PMO team, you will:

  • Be involved in transversal projects typically related to internal organization, processes, efficiency, KPIs, Resource Management, CMS evolution etc.;
  • Build good relationships and facilitate smooth coordination/communication with ComLIMS and Eurofins teams, especially Management, Product Owners, Development Managers, Release/Operations and Support teams;
  • Actively contribute to PMO projects and maintain a good collaboration with other PMO members;
  • Develop each project using project management process independently or peer working with other PMO members: collection requirement, investigation, design, proposal, approval, implementation, review, and documentation;
  • Respect the deadline and priorities of each project to complete them with acceptable outputs by good design and plan, following up status daily and matching changing requirements;
  • Improve your technical knowledge in various areas, including project management, process management, Agile/Scrum, CMS/SharePoint, Excel macro, SQL language, DevOps, etc.;
  • Acquire a strong working knowledge of Eurofins EurIS systems, starting with ComLIMS, underlying concepts and models, as well as the processes and practices of the team;
  • Develop appropriate working relationships with IT and non-IT target groups in Eurofins, and actively support reuse and sharing within the wider EurIS community.

Qualifications


Are you our kind of extraordinary?

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or similar;
  • No more than 2 years of previous experience, ideally in project management, business process and/or software development is highly desirable;
  • Knowledge of SQL (or T-SQL) basics is highly desirable;
  • Clear planning, development, design and control of process management;
  • Open mind for design and proposal, carefulness, and precise implementation;
  • Willing to learn new technologies, processes, and functional areas;
  • Fast learner, at ease with challenges or complex topics, and solution-oriented;
  • Strong communication, organisational and multi-tasking skills;
  • Critical thinking and detail-orientated skills;
  • Fluent English communication skills required (written/oral). Knowledge of another language is a plus.

Eurofins' ComLIMS Program (ComLIMS is derived from Communication and Laboratory Information Management System) consists of two internally developed web applications and a range of additional services (including reporting, data, and business intelligence) which support our internal customers - Eurofins laboratories worldwide - in their day-to-day activities related to sales and production processes of the analytical services offered to Eurofins customers. It is at the heart of the Eurofins strategy enabling efficient cross-selling between laboratories. Components of the Program and its data are used by a wide range of Eurofins applications making it a key Program within the international Eurofins Group.
