ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Producer's role is to work independently on his/her own projects as well as with other content Producers in managing projects of varying scope and scale to completion, including television, social, radio, animatics, pitch videos, and longer format, on time and within budget.
The Producer will oversee day-to-day production activities for assigned projects, including creating production budgets and production schedules for most efficient approach, vendor searches, bidding through cost consultants, casting, pre-production, talent booking, production, music composition/licensing, editing, post-production, and final delivery. Producer should be confident booking and supervising sessions. The Producer must be extremely detail-oriented throughout the project.
The Producer will work closely with other producers as well as the creative teams, account teams, project management, and Business Affairs. Serves as the Leader on his/her projects, maintaining constant communication with these departments on a daily basis, to keep them informed and ahead of the curve during all phases of production, provide guidance, rally teams, and steer projects to keep them on track.
- Will search for, call in, and review showreels for directors, editors, music houses, VFX companies, etc., and suggest perfect vendor matches to creative teams – both the clear choices, as well as discovering and introducing new choices.
- Will organize information, schedule meetings, track costs, and complete paperwork and reports.
- Reports to Executive Producer.
Qualifications:
- Minimum three (3) years of previous agency and/or production company or post-production company experience.
- Must have strong knowledge of video and radio production and feel very comfortable bidding, scheduling, and producing projects without supervision.
- Critically important to have excellent organizational skills, and to be extremely detail oriented. Also must be able to see the big picture, and how details impact it.
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects concurrently, working under tight deadlines
- Must possess excellent problem-solving skills; critically important to have excellent ability to anticipate problems and clearly articulate creative solutions.
- Strong working knowledge of SAG/AFTRA talent rules
- Working knowledge of the music creation/acquisition landscape, including music copyright, licensing, and legal parameters.
- Strong ability to recognize, identify, and avert any and all potential legal issues.
- Strong interpersonal relations skills, with ability to consistently display a professional demeanor, stay cool under pressure, and handle strong personalities.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Team player, collaborator, and open mind to finding efficient and effective ways to work.
- Automotive production experience is a plus

The base salary range is $90k+ plus benefits
