Job Purpose and Impact

The Operations Support will provide technical advice and support to customers during and after product sales. In this role, you will be a contact for customers and you will stay ahead of technology and business practices through workshops, research, and professional meetings. You will have specific responsibility for barn visits, production report reviews, promotion and use of profitability tools. Be knowledgeable of our portfolio of offerings and make suggestions to the account team to improve customer profitability. Key Accountabilities

Collaborate with consultants to provide onsite technical support for current customers and prospects. Provide customer solutions and technical support materials to specific customers, this will include the development of training materials and providing training to customers as needed. Troubleshooting customer barns, such as ventilation, feeding and other management practices. Perform complex research for product development to understand product properties and systems operations. Compile and analyze data for project update, working with external suppliers to test new products and technologies to make recommendations on applications. Organize project data and conclusions for internal and customer presentations, assist with product demonstrations and service as subject matter guide during meetings with prospective customers. Stay ahead of product insight and research to improve value of offerings. Keep application and value collection up to date in the systems. Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned Position Information
Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position. Travel is required to cover the area of responsibility up to 50% of the time.
Compensation
The expected salary for this position is $115,000.00 - $120,000.00. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance. Benefits

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience Minimum of four years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications Five years of relevant experience in pork production Master's degree, Doctorate degree Passion for understanding, creating, and communicating value and solutions to team members and customers. Public speaking experience Ability to influence others and communicate with diverse stakeholders Established relationships with U.S. pork producers Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
