Program Assistant reports to the Program Director, Program Administrator, and Graduate Medical Education Office in maintenance of a well-organized, efficient, supportive and scholarly environment for Medical Education. Committed to the provision of superior Medical Education with a large tertiary care community medical center. Communicates regularly with Attending Physicians, Surgical Residents, and health care personnel.
Minimum Qualifications Required: Education: Associates degree in related field required. Medical education experience preferred specifically in coordinating residency programs. Experience: Minimum of three (3) years medical coordination or residency program support experience preferred, but strong administrative skills in related field will be accepted. Other Minimum Qualifications: Medical terminology, computer knowledge (Windows XP - Excel, Word).
Able to navigate easily throughout the Int! ernet and learn many web based programs used for the residency! program, such as MedHub and Turning Point. Must be highly organized, detail oriented and proficient at meeting deadlines.
