A private Healthcare practice in Fairfax County is looking for a motivated individual to work in the front office and represent our practice with professional! ism. This employee must be driven, poised, articulate, and possess the strongest of communication skills. Our professional will be able to multi-task effortlessly, prioritize efficiently, handle patient requests, manage the database, place outbound calls to patients, handle all administrative tasks, and do so with a smile. Someone who is proactive instead reactive, one step ahead instead of two steps behind, is the type of professional who will fit in well here. Someone with a sales mentality is a must because they will single handedly help grow this practice one patient at a time. Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle patient calls and effectively manage schedule
Contact patients to confirm appointments.
Track and report daily s! cheduling metrics.
Effectively handle telephone inquiries.!
Greet patients immediately upon their arrival and provide excellent customer service.
Maintain patient records in billing/scheduling system and in hard copy.
Type correspondence for professionals.
Provide back-up billing support.
Will be taught how to clean and do minor repair of hearing aids

Qualifications:
Position Qualifications:
Minimum of an Associates degree is required
2 years front office experience preferably in a medical retail environment (dermatology/optical/plastic surgery/cosmetic dentistry setting).
Must be computer literate in all Microsoft Office programs.
Must be able to work well independently and be detailed-oriented

The ideal candidate will also possess:

Ability to handle heavy phone work and provide top-notch service.
Strong organizational skills.
