Primary Care Nurse Practitioner - (NP-Primary Care) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts! : 8 Hour/Day
Our client is seeking either a Nurse Practitioner, or will consider a Physician Assistant. Candidate will be doing Health Assessments and must have at least 6 months experience in Adult, Family or Geriatric. Schedule will be Monday through Friday shifts, 8am to 5pm. Assignment lengths do vary.
A primary care nurse practitioner (locum tenens) diagnoses and treat patients, order diagnostics, conduct physical exams, interpret x-rays and other tests, and also educate patients on maintaining proper health. In addition to a nursing license, a primary care nurse practitioner holds a certification as a nurse practitioner, and typically a master's degree. A primary care nurse practitioner works with physicians on duty to help evaluate and treat patients.
