Riverside Heron Cove at Sanders Retirement Community is currently a Part Time LPN with a passion for working with the elderly. JOB SUMMARY: The Licensed Practical Nurse works under the guidance of the Nurse Mentor and in partnership with all household staff and is ultimately responsible to the Director of Nursing. The LPN promotes rehabilitation guests’ and long-term care residents' well-being and satisfaction by supporting person-centered care. Participates in observing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care and provides for the emotional and physical comfort and safety of the rehabilitation guests and long-term care residents and their families; is a role model for license nursing practices. As a team member of the Household, the LPN is considered a versatile w! orker and is cross-trained in different functions of the House! hold in order to meet guest/resident needs and wishes as they occur.
EDUCATION: Graduate of a practical nurse program required.
LICENSURE: Current State licensure as a practical nurse.
EXPERIENCE: Acute care/med surgery experience preferred.
HOURS: Evenings
