Concentric Methods is currently accepting resumes for an
Addiction Medicine Physician to provide a wide range of
prevention, evaluation and treatmen! t modalities
addressing substance use and addiction in ambulatory
care settings, acute care facilities, and psychiatric
settings within MTFs coordinated with remainder of R4
Pain Teams as well as R4 Regional Specialty Teams.
Coordinate and provide consultation services for other
physicians when appropriate.
Provide medical care within the bio-psycho-social
framework for persons with addiction, for the individual
with substance-related health conditions, for persons
who manifest unhealthy substance use as a result of
chronic pain

Job Requirements:
Possess a Doctorate Degree in Medicine (MD) from an
accredited college approved by the Liaison Committee on
Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical
Association, a Doctorate degree in Osteopathy (DO) from
a college accredited by the American Osteopathic
Association, or permanent certification by the
Educational Commission for Fore! ign Medical Graduates
(ECFMG).
Have documented success! ful completion of a residency

program which has been approved by one of the following:
(a) the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical
Education (ACGME); (b) the Committee on Postdoctoral
Training of the American Osteopathic Association; (c)
those Canadian training programs approved by the Royal
College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or other
appropriate Canadian medical authority.
Possess and maintain a current, valid, unrestricted
license (corresponding to the specialty required by the
task order) in one of the fifty States, the District of
Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the
U.S. Virgin Islands.

Possess and maintain a current Board Certification in:
(a) Addiction Medicine from the American Board of
Addiction Medicine (ABAM); OR (b) Addiction Psychiatry
from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
(ABPN).
Possess two years of full time clinic! al work experience
within the preceding five years as a Board Certified
Addiction Medicine Physician.
Possess and maintain a current Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) certification.
Possess and maintain a current Drug Enforcement Agency
(DEA) registration number (certificate) to prescribe
controlled substances.
