Description:

We are currently seeking General Dentists, Periodontists, Oral Surgeons, and Implant Specialists (DDS/DMD) for the following locations:

• Tysons, Northern Virginia

The successful applicant must be trained in techniques, skills and concepts regarding dental care. In addition to working to meet the oral health needs of patients, performing all duties approved by law, the applicant maintains professional rapport with all parties, including office staff. The successful applicant will also be able to work alongside trained professionals and qualified staff, with state-of-the-art equipment in beautiful and clean facilities.

General duties to include but are not limited to the following listed below:

• Ensure all OSHA and Dental Board policies are being properly followed
• Comply with office policies and procedures as they relat! e to the position
• Examine x-rays, filling cavities, repairing teeth, extracting teeth
• Perform root canals, administer anesthetics
• Examine patients’ mouths for cavities, sores, swelling, or other signs of disease
• Be able to use a wide variety of equipment (drills, x-ray machines, mouth mirrors, scalpels, oral scopes, etc.)
• Teach patients appropriate strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., toothbrushing, flossing and nutritional counseling)
• Proactively work towards achieving high patient satisfaction by offering friendly and professional patient service.
• Assist with other duties as needed

Mandatory Job Requirements:

• Be licensed in the State of VA (Virginia) and have DEA Certification
• Must have a current CPR certification or be willing to sign an agreement to obtain such certification within one (1) month of employment
• Strong customer service ethics
• Abil! ity to multi-task in a busy practice setting
• Good communication skills
• Be able to see patients on their own and direct their own tasks
