Principal Human Resources Analyst - Retirement


 

The Riverside County Human Resources Department is seeking a Principal Human Resources Analyst to join the Retirement unit. The PHRA will be responsible for CalPERS retirement, 457 and 401 (a) deferred compensation, and act as a liaison between County selected vendors, consultants, The Board of Supervisors and other County Stakeholders.

The Principal Human Resources Analyst classification reports to a Human Resources Services Manager or Division Manager and is characterized by the overall responsibility to provide a full range of human resources services, administer and develop projects or programs, evaluate programs for the functional areas of Human Resources. Under supervision, plans, organizes and manages a unit, program or project in human resources or represents the County in administering provisions of County labor agreements; may act as the assistant manager for a service team; performs other related duties as required.

This class has been deemed eligible for the Performance Recognition Plan as set forth under Article 3, Section 311 of the County Management Resolution. Program eligibility requires employees to be in a leadership position, manage other employees or programs, and have significant influence on the achievement of organizational objectives.

The department desires candidates with County HR experience and advanced in Microsoft excel. Those with experience in CalPERS, 457, and 401 (a) are encouraged to apply!
