Seeking a Director of Clinical Services to lead our clinical operations and be part of our senior management team.
The Director of Clinical Services supervises our home health care services that are delivered to patients in their home in accordance with physician orders and a plan of treatment/care. Services are delivered by nurses, therapists, social workers and home health aides. The Director of Clinical Services develops and implements standards, procedures and processes for delivering care that is safe, therapeutically effective, meets budgeted productivity goals and complies with all regulations. This position is responsible for adequate clinical utilization to meet current and future demand for services. This individual oversees quality management and performance improvement programs. The DCS is crucial to succes! sful care coordination among our own services and that of the ! patients’ other providers.

Requirement: 5+ years in a clinical leadership role at a Medicare-certified home health care agency.
Requirement: Experience managing skilled census of 200+ patients.
Requirement: Extensive experience with Medicare home health regulations. !
Requirement: Experience working with managed care organizati! ons.
Requirement: Active and clear RN in Virginia or a compact state.
Requirement: Experience coordinating care from multiple disciplines.
Requirement: Proven ideas to reduce unnecessary hospitalizations.
Requirement: Experience with chronic disease management.
Prefer: Experience with Joint Commission regulations.
Prefer: Experience with pediatric private duty nursing.
Prefer: Knowledge of ACO’s and other health care reform initiatives.
Ideal Candidate will be a career-motivated RN or NP who is looking to be part of an established, growing company with a strong home heath care and management background. Knowledge of Medicare and JCAHO regulations are critical. Ideal Candidate will also have strong leadership skills, "outside of the box thinking" and a proven track record.
