Carilion Clinic is conducting a national search for Physician Assistants with current experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Join an experienced, innovative team in a nationally recognized reg! ional cardiac network performing over 1,300 cardiac procedures annually at an 791-bed academic/tertiary referral center, offering state-of-the-art surgical expertise, including da Vinci Robotics and Mini-Maze. In addition to EVH and first assisting, duties include: Participate in pre/post-op management of cardiac patients, under the supervision of the surgeons. Attend rounds and assist in clinical education of staff.
Must be able to assume on-call responsibilities, as needed. Requirements include licensed or license eligible in Commonwealth of Virginia as Physician Assistant, BLS/ACLS, and current experience in EVH and first assisting in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
