Housekeeping and Room Attendant Personnel to join our team. In this position, you will:
Perform a combination of tasks, which maintain hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner, there by contributing to a pleasant, positive guest experience.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Cleans rooms.
- Moves and arranges furniture.
- Turns mattresses, hang draperies as required.
- Dusts furniture and equipment; polishes metalwork and furniture.
- Collects linens for laundering and receives/stores linen supplies.
- Cleans bathrooms and replenishes with supplies.
- Refurnishes room with supplies, towels, etc. as required.
- Supplies own cleaning cart with appropriate supplies for shift.
- Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaner
To qualify for this position, you will need to have:
- Prior housekeeping experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team!
- Ability to use hands to lift, carry or pull objects that may be heavy.
- Understand simple instructions.
- Learn simple procedures and techniques.
- Perform routine work or the same task over and over again.
- Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently
- Work evening and over time as needed.
