Our busy, growing bariatric practice is looking for a registered dietitian to replace our current R.D. who is moving.
The applicant will be responsible for providing (with supervision) complete pre-operative and postoperative nutritional/dietary education to bariatric patients before and after surgery. The setting will be primarily one-on-one office based appointments with some telephone appointments. There may ultimately be some small-group sessions as well.
Qualifications:
· Must be a Registered Dietitia! n and have current licensure in the State of Virginia.
Â! · Clinical experience desired.
· Bariatric experience desired, but we will train the right applicant.
· A high level of professional maturity is mandatory.
· Interest in bariatrics is mandatory.
