Description: Carilion Clinic is at present recruited PA - CCMOB GENERAL SURGERY right now, this position will be placed in Virginia. Further informations about this position opportunity please read the description below. Physician Assistant opportunity in Acute General Surgery. Mondy - Friday; Day shift with one weekend per month. Primary duties include rounding on and managing pre and post-op inpatients ! on acute general surgical service, first assist duties if needed and patient/ family education. Also responsible for building a data base and tracking patient dispositions.

Requirements: Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and be licensed as a PA within the state of Virginia. Must be eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with state regulations and as authorized by the Virgi! nia Board of Medicine.
Must meet credentialing requir! ements and qualify for malpractice insurance and be accepted by Carilion Clinic`s malpractice insurance carrier. Basic Life Support certification is required.
