We are seekng an experienced Nurse Manager, Womens Services, Graduate from an accredited nursing program: BSN required.
Must have five (5) years Women's Health clinical nursing experience, Two (2) years as a supervisor. Licensure: Currently licensed to pract! ice as an RN Virginia or eligible. BLS required.
Excellent communication and team building skills. Demonstrate leadership, organization and work management skills.
The Clinical Nurse Manager of Womens Services is responsible for the daily operations of the Women's Health areas. Supervises patient care services staff including coordinating quality and customer service activities; assisting in the development and monitoring of the departmental budget; coordinating the purchasing and payroll processes; serving as a technical/clinical resource to team members; and performing work assignments as needed to provide appropriate coverage and to mentor/assist staff.
Responsible for interviewing, hiring and developing staff with the goal of developing a highly effective work team. Serves as chief retention officer for areas of responsibility. Ensure therapeutic, quality, and cost-effective care using the goal directed nursing process and reporting and correc! ting clinical variances in practice. Maintains a professional attitude ! when working with patients, families, medical, and nursing staff. Facilitates educational experience for staff.
