Award winning facility in Eastern Virginia is looking for an experienced Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to be their Team Coordinator. This provider will be a part of a cohesive team caring for the adult and geriatric population primarily in an inpatient setting.
Provide clinical support, education, staff development and supervisory duties
Mentor and educate clinicians and other nurses
Set! the bar for excellence in patient care services
Coor! dinate educational and outreach services

Are you versed in Cardiology? Have experience in mentoring and managing staff? Are you responsible, caring, sympathetic, and compassionate? Do you have leadership skills in development, implementation, and use of measures that ensure team effectiveness in improving patient quality, service, and resource use? The ideal candidate must possess these characteristics in order to fit well within their team of professionals. If you have these traits /skills, we want to speak with you.
5+ years experience in direct patient care required (Cardiology, Cardiovascular, Cardiothoracic)
Must have experience in staff development, education or precepting nurses and other clinicians
Management / Leadership experience required
