Blacksburg, VA - This represents an exciting opportunity for an orthopedic surgeon to join a strong base of existing orthopaedic specialists including general, sports medici! ne, and adult reconstruction. This position will provide some support to two NCAA Division I schools in addition to a host of other area competitive and recreational athletes. The ideal candidate will have fellowship training and be willing to practice general orthopedics. The initial focus of this position will be general orthopeadics while growing specialty specific volume.
Outdoor activities include boating and fishing at Claytor Lake and the New River; biking on the New River Trail; and easy access to the Appalachian Trail, the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Jefferson National Forest. Home to Radford University, Virginia Tech and the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Cultural activities including the new VT Center for the Arts. Collegiate sporting events
