Endocrinologist - Physician - (Endocrinology) Locum Tenens

Established practice in Northern Virginia seeks an Endocrinologist for coverage from July through September. The need is for Monday-Friday, outpatient only schedule; 8a-5p will see 20-25 patients per day. Physician must be board-certified and have VA license and working knowledge of EMR. Focusing on the treatment of diseases of the endocrine system, endocrinologists (locum tenens) treat conditions such as diabetes, metabolic disorders and hyperthyroidism, among other maladies. An endocrinologist also looks at conditions like obesity, infertility and stunted growth, performing diagnostic tests and prescribing medication or performing surgical procedures in an effort to reverse them.
