Description: Carilion Clinic is currently seeking to employ PA right now, this position will be placed in Virginia. More details about this position opportunity please read the description below. Carilion Clinic General Surgery has a full time Physician Assistant opportunity available at the Westlake Office. Primarily outpatient setting with no weekends or call. Clinic hours are Mondayâ€"Friday from 8amâ€" 5pm. Primary duties in! clude inital assessments, comprehensive evaluations and consultations with patients prior to surgery. Previous experience in a surgery clinic preferred.

Requirements: Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and be eligible for licensure as a PA within the state of Virginia. Must be eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with state regulations and as authorized by the Virginia Board of Medicine. Must meet credentialing requirements and qualify for malpractice insurance and be accepted by Carilion Clinic's malpractice insurance carrier. Basic Life Support certification is required. Advanced life Support certification is preferred.
