Description: Carilion Clinic is currently interviewing CENTRAL SERVICES TECHNICIAN I right now, this vacancy will be placed in Virginia. Decontaminates, assembles, sterilizes, and distributes instruments, supplies, a! nd equipment for patient care. Cleans, tests, and operates various sterilizers. Collaborates with other members of the surgical team to ensure quality patient care. CRMH - Prepares case carts for Operating Room and Cardiac Surgery.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience: Central Services experience preferred, but will train the right candidate.
Licensure,
certification, and/or
registration: None
Other Minimum
Qualifications: Requires basic interpersonal skills. Satisfactory completion of orientation. Must be able to fulfill fundamental components/essential elements of position. Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to exhibit attributes of a “Team Playerâ€.
