Job Description for CVOR nurse: The Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nurse will work in the cardiovascular operating room assisting the surgeon by performing tasks such as working with the heart lung bypass machine and administering/monitoring anesthesia during the procedure. CVOR nurses rely upon a specialized body of knowledge, skills, and experience to provide care to patients and families and create healing environments.
