Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, the area's First Magnet Hospital, is seeking a Manager for Same Day Surgery - Pre-Op and Post-Op
Job Summary/Purpose:
Assumes responsibi! lity and accountability for coordination of the business functions within the surgical services areas. Responsible for billing/revenue processes including management of the Surgical Information System. Coordinates the development and marketing of new services within the business unit. Contributes to the success of the hospital through achievement of system, hospital, and department goals and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor or Masters Degree in Nursing required.
Experience: Minimum three years experience in surgical services environment.
Licensure: Currently licensed to practice as a RN by the Commonwealth of Virginia
Other: Demonstrates the minimum knowledge, skills and abilities to care for the individualized needs of the patient to include physical, psychological, socio-cultural, spiritual and cognitive needs as well as functional abilities including the need for diversified use of such pr! actices.
