VCU Health System's Acute Care Surgery department is currently recruiting for a full time, benefited Care Partner position. Acute Care Surgery is 28 bed surgical unit that specializes in the care of the surgery patient populations in both the pre and postoperativ! e phase of their hospitalization.
Applicant Qualif! ications include the following:
- Completion of state recognized CNA program OR
- Completion of first semester junior year in a BSN program dependent upon school curriculum. VCU/MCV BSN students: Completion of Sophomore year, Nursing 201, 202, 261. Associate Degree and Diploma programs: completion of first year or a minimum of two semesters of basic nursing courses. (Specialty areas e.g. pediatrics, women’s health, psychiatry may require completion of a clinical rotation in that area) OR
- Completion of EMT program OR
- Completion of medical assistant program.
