Responsibilities Capable clinician, focused on expanding knowledge and skills. Consistently provides effective direct care, as part of the interdisciplinary team, to a variety of complex patients.
Seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice. Assumes a beginning leadership role but seeks mentoring in this process. Other Information 5 Central is a 28 bed unit that concentrates on digestive health and colorectal surgery patients. The patient population offers! a RN a great mix of clinical opportunities.
Specific! ally, patients on this unit may include Cirrhosis, GI bleeds, Pancreatitis, peg / jejunostomy tubes, ERCP procedures, Abdominal surgeries such as Hemicolectomy, APR’s and LAR’s, Cholecystectomy. Additionally, there is a bariatric specialty that includes open, lap and lap band gastric bypass surgery. This unit boasts team work, process improvement, full control of your RN practice, and full management support for you as an RN to grow and learn.
