DUTIES:
TOUR OF DUTY: 7:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with on-call duties.
**SALARY DETERMINED BY PHYSICIAN COMPENSATION PANEL COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS.

General Description:
Mental Health position at Lynchburg community based outpatient clinic (CBOC)
Functions:
Clinical: 95% seeing outpatients
Administrative: 5% Administrative work
Education: None at this time
Research: None at this time
Supervision:
Incumbent reports to Chief, Mental Health Service Line
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Required Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (Non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens.
- Must have a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, Commonwealth of the United States or in the District of Columbia.
- Must possess excellent clinical and administrative skills.
- Must be proficient in the English language.
- Must successfully complete a background investigation before appointment to the position.
- Must pass pre-employment medical examination.
- After appointment, you will be subject to random drug testing.
- New appointees must complete of 2 year probationary period.
