Description: Carilion Clinic is currently interviewing CENTRAL SERVICES TECHNICIAN I - Central Sterile Supply right now, this position will be placed in Virginia. Decontaminates, assembles, sterilizers, and distributes instruments, supplies, and equipment for patient care. Cleans, cultures, tests, and operates various sterilizes. Collaborates with other members of the surgical team to ensure quality patient care.
CRMH -Prepares case carts for Operating Room and Cardiac Surgery. CRCH -Prepares case carts for Operating Room, OB/OR, and Labor & Delivery. Minimum Qualifications Required: Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Experience: Previous Central Service experience preferred but will train the right candidate.
Center core skills. Other Minimum Qualifications: Requires basic interpersonal skills. Satisfactory completion of orientation. Must be able to fulfill fundamental components/essential elements of position.
Basic computer knowledge required. Must possess great communication and customer service skills. 24 hour accountability. Service Excellence and Quality are hallmarks of Carilion Clinic.
