Every quarter our leadership team hosts an all-staff meeting where they share updates on how we’re performing against our business goals as well as finances. The agency’s goals are clear and discussed regularly among the team along with a clear line of processes and accountability to achieve each goal. We also operate using scorecards to track our, and our clients, performance week after week. As a data-driven company, being able to see how we’re performing against our KPIs every week attributes to our transparent culture.
Media Relations
- Create media lists using MuckRack
- Leverage existing strong and meaningful media relationships for the benefit of clients
- Craft pitches that generate media coverage
- Communicate with reporters, editors, and producers through email, phone, and other methods when necessary
- Prepare clients for interviews and advise them on how to leverage opportunities
- Evaluate the impact of a media placement through business opportunities, website analytics, and impressions
Material Development
- Review, edit, and approve all press materials developed by account managers, including press kits, press releases, media alerts, bylined articles, talking points, infographics, pitches, scripts, and other materials
- Provide guidance on messaging, structure, grammar, and spelling of all client press materials
- Ensure materials are revised, approved, and distributed per client feedback and instruction
Research
- Constantly research and identify trends, news, reporter contacts, and other information to benefit clients
- Use the resources available to find data or figure things out independently
