The Department of Surgery at the University of Virginia is seeking candidates for a tenure-eligible Div ision Chief of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery. The incumbent will be expected to possess a comprehensive ability to care for the vascular surgical patient population with the ability to perform both complex endovascular and open procedures. Enthusiastic leadership experience in student, resident, and vascular fellow training and education is essential as is the mentorship of departmental faculty members. A strong record of academic leadership, industry or grant funded research, and a nationally recognized reputation is expected of successful candidates.
Candidates must be board-certified in vascular surgery with a nationally recognized background in clinical or basic science research and currently hold an appointment of Associate or Full Professor.
