Great opportunity to join a group in a major university town in Virginia!
General Orthopedic Surgery opportunity in the foothills-mountains of Virginia. Practice losing one s! urgeon who is leaving the area creating a ready made opportunity to walk into on day one. Practice owns a surge-center and about 90% of the surgeries are done there based on the last surgeon's record. There is general call 1:6 paid extra. No trauma. Group has one other Orthopedic Surgeon, 1 PA, 2 NP, 1 non-operative ortho. Contract would be for 2 years. Partnership track in 1-2 years. Partnership includes surge-center. The group has partnered with a PT group in same building. PT group has 4 trainers in the group. Ortho group affiliated with four High Schools and could addd 5-8 more if approached.
The town's population is situated three hours to the ocean, two hours to Washington, DC, four hours to Philadelphia and close to Charlottesville. College town!
