Primary Care Physician Locums Opportunity - Burkeville , VA
Primary care physician needed to provide general ! medical services to the inmate population of Nottoway Correctional Center located in Burkeville , VA.
Length of Service : Long or Short Term
Hours : Flexible; 6hrs per week
Qualifications :
Current, unrestricted VA medical license
Board Certified
Valid DEA
Valid NPI
Scope of Services :
Provide general medical services to include performing physicalexams, prescribing medications, reviewing x-rays and lab reports
Record a summary of problems and/or symptoms, diagnosis or diagnostic hypotheses, treatments, medications and any other appropriate information on each patient's medical chart
Adhere to the Formulary
Make referrals as necessary
Respond to the facility if needed in the event of an emergency or injury
