Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Division of General Surgery is inviting applications for the position of Colorectal Surgeon. This position is a no! n-tenure eligible position on the collateral track.
Qualifications: Must be board certified or board eligible in general surgery. Must have completed a fellowship in colorectal surgery. The successful candidate should have a strong academic interest in clinical and/or basic research, a commitment to education and training, and excellent clinical and surgical credentials. Responsibilities also include supervising residents and fellows in the practice of general and colorectal surgery. Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU is required. Salary commensurate with experience.
