Sentara Medical Group is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to work in a physicians office in Woodbridge, VA.
Job Summary/Purpose:
The Registered Nurse develops, implements and evaluates plans of care for specific patient populations. Coordinates and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care. Possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preffered. Meets any requirements defined by specific specialty.
Experience: No previous experience necessary unless defined by specific specialty; however, prior experience in nursing assessment, surgery, and patient triage is preferred.
Licensure : Currently licensed to practice as an RN by the Commonwealth of Virginia or a recognized compact state.
Other: Current BLS certification. Meets any requirement defined by specific specialty. Candidates must have strong clinical skills and be able to work well independently and together with a multiple physician. Excellent customer services skills and the ability to efficiently use a computer is required. Candidates that are able to be flexible and adaptable will be the most successful.
