HR Coordinator


 

Position Overview:

Naviga, Inc. is seeking an HR Coordinator (US Region) to provide support in daily HR needs and organizational objectives. This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic global team - a strong partnership with regional and global HRBPs is essential. The ideal candidate maintains a high level of organization in order to provide continuous support to the HR Shared Services function, as well as cross-functional collaboration. Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment and on-boarding/offboarding
  • Maintain accurate status and tracking of new hire data via ADP Workforce Now and a SharePoint portal.
  • Assist in generating various letters- offer, merit, bonus, transfer, visa, verification of employment
  • 401k enrollment and termination, along with health insurance deductions, Worker Compensation, FLSA reporting etc.
  • Assist with employee garnishments and transfers across borders.
  • Create and distribute monthly payroll calendar to HR team
  • Regularly monitor and respond to inquiries via the HR email box/ HR tickets. Perform duties as per assigned SLAs to resolve employee queries
  • Monitor contractor end dates, extensions, and system updates monthly
  • Conduct year-end filing requirements (W2, ACA etc.)
  • All other duties as assigned by management

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to manage time and multitask effectively
  • Ability to work independently/remotely
  • High standard of ethics and confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline is preferred
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years’ experience in HR with employee benefits is required
  • Working knowledge of US federal/state employment laws is required
  • Knowledge of Canada regulations is a plus

Physical & Other Requirements:

  • Sitting or standing for prolonged periods
